Pretty good, but..

..kinda just... "meh". It needs a little something to make it great.. I can't quite put my finger on it, but...

That's some pretty good stuff!

I liked the music, but couldn't hear the voices. In fact.. I would have been alright if there weren't any voices at all! It's just kinda wierd having faint voices behind the music.

There were some wierd cuts in the battle though, like, that one dude get impaled by the sword, then the other guy runs to pull the sword out, then the runs at him again?

Other than that it was all quite cool.. I want to see more!

That was cool.

..but personally, I think there would be more conflict between spring and fall.... but that's not really important, is it?

Anyways, great animation. The graphics were clean. The design could have been a little better, it was hard to tell what season each guy was. Maybe if you focused on the theme of each season rather than classical elements it would be clearer.

The sound was pretty good, but the speech was way too quiet. You gotta normalize your audio.

Altogether this was an excellent animation by-far. It stands high above 80% of the stuff here on NG. Keep it up!

Thanks. I actually have to disagree with you on the "hard to recognise" thing. I showed the designs to countless people who picked their names straight away. So far nobody has really had that much of a problem with figuring it out.

I love the song, I love Pizzicato 5... but..

I was hoping there would be more to the animation.. and I wish the graphics were cleaner.... well.. excellent choice on the music anyways....

i will have to agree with you, theres not much to this movie, i just liked the song and wanted to make a silly thing for it. i think the animation fits well though.

Nice group of work.

Although I think your images could use a little polishing, they have a distinct style that is eye catching and appropriate. It's good to see some animations that are saying something. Nice work!

Thank you..its actually kind of sad because I always get the odd voter who wants somthing with huge guns..huge explosions..and huge boobs..and I like to tackel politcial issiues or social unrest,then making a movie about random killing or sexual inuendos...thank you very much for your input. :)

That was really cool. Nice simple style with a warning sign guy. And interesting juxtaposition positive and negative space with that door.

I'm curious though... how'd you do those motion blurs from the camera movements?

I exported the guy as jpeg, edited in adobe photoshop using motion blur, and imported it again.

Eh...

Well the audio I thought was awesome... and I was viewing it as a piece of art and all... but I still thought it was lacking. I even tried viewing it again as a piece of abstract expressionist work, but still the colors didn't seem to reflect any synch with the audio that I could find, they seemed like arbitrary use of gradients and tweens.... well I guess what I'm trying to say is, you can't ask the audience to see a piece as art. They have to see it for themselves. And the art should be able to stand on it's own, without you needing to coax the audience into believing it's art.

Well, I really liked the music and the story. Very cool!

The robots looked cool and such but yeah the animation was lacking. I definitely see skill in there... it just needs some polishing. I know you said there was jerkiness and all that, but still as a final product it gets a 6.
